How to activate a commercial version of Kaspersky KryptoStorage?

When using an activation code, your computer must be connected to the Internet to get a license from the license service.

you can activate the full version of Kaspersky KryptoStorage during the installation or after it when you use the installed application.

In order to activate the full version during the installation, perform the following actions:

• run the installation and follow the instructions of the Setup Wizard. You can find more detailed information in KB2862


• in the Product activation window check Activate full version


• in the Enter activation code field type a product code consisting of five parts. Each part of the code contains five characters. The code contains digits (except zero) and upper-case Latin letters. Example: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX


• in the customer information section, specify your country. You can also specify your name and e-mail address as additional information.


• click the OK button to continue the activation and connect to the activation server. The license is acquired and installed automatically.


• wait till the activation completes


• click the Finish button to close the Setup Wizard


• you are strongly recommended to reboot your computer after the installation to complete the installation of some application components.

In order to activate the full version of the application after the installation, perform the following actions:

• open the main application window


• click the Licenses... button

• in the Licenses window click the Activate... button

• in the Enter activation code field type a product code consisting of five parts. Each part of the code contains five characters. The code contains digits (except zero) and upper-case Latin letters. Example: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX


• click the OK button

• the Licenses dialog window will informs you that the activation is successfully completed. click the OK button

• then in the Licenses window you can find the license type, validity, status and serial number. Click the Exit button to close the window.

Copy the license file to another hard disk or removable device. This copy will be needed to restore the application after a failure.
